Tons of fun in April!!!
Nana is on Spring Break from School, so
Gramma Gen comes from Seattle to
East Lansing to celebrate Easter
and her 81st BIRTHDAY!!
We have a "Birthday Breakfast", with candles on a coffee cake and presents.  Gracie set the
table and put the candles on, and sang Happy Bir'day a lot!
After breakfast we traveled to Frederick Meijer Gardens to see the
"Butterflies are Blooming" exhibition and all of the pretty spring color.
Gracie met Flutter the Butterfly.  She was not scared!
Two favorite outside activities -- blowing
bubbles and drawing on the sidewalk
with chalk.  And drawing on peoples
faces with chalk.
Doing "grumpy face/happy face" with Daddy.
It was cold outside, but nice and sunny, so we went out
into the Lena Maijer Children's Garden.  After
Gracie entered through the little gate she dug in the
sand dune, played in the "great lake", saw the big
horse and had a tea party under the tree house.
EASTER EGGS!!!
An Easter egg hunt at the home of one of Genna's co-workers.  After a little help
getting started, Gracie fills her basket, then settles down to fill her tummy -- with Easter GOODIES!
MESSY!!!
Mmm, Peeps!
Where's the
Easter
Bunny?
I found one!!
