MEET TOBY!!
In October of 2005 the little family suffered a terrible loss with the passing of their beloved buddy
Boston from pancreatitis.  At the beginning of February, however, they welcomed a new addition to
their family from a shelter in northern Michigan.  Because he is half Swiss Mountain Dog and half
(pointer? greyhound?) he was christened Toby - after Toblerone, the Swiss chocolate candy bar.  
After some initial shyness he has settled in very nicely.   He is gentle, sweet natured, practically
barkless (but not howl-less), and (so far!) has not chewed up one thing!!!!  He is, however, a very
FASTescape artist, which is probably how he came to be in the shelter in the first place.
The first nice snowfall of the year
brings everyone out for a romp in
the yard and a sled ride around the
block.
She loves her cat Floyd (who loves her pajama
party bed), she loves books (and having Daddy
read to her), and mugging for the
camera in silly hats . . .
She loves her friend in Traverse City and the
"date" they had for dinner . . . . .
